Congress has until tomorrow to avert a government shutdown, and we need your help!

Since 2014, the federal Appropriations budget has included an amendment that prevents the Department of Justice from targeting medical marijuana patients and providers who are in compliance with state law. Those protections are set to expire TOMORROW unless Congress includes them in the budget for next year.

If they do not, or if there is a government shutdown because they could not reach agreement or postpone the decision, there will be nothing to stop Jeff Sessions from going after sick people and the businesses that provide their state-legal medicine.

Contact your lawmakers TODAY, and urge them to defend state medical marijuana programs from interference by the Department of Justice!

You can use the tools below to automatically contact your federally elected representatives.

Feel free to use the text provided, or include a message of your own politely asking them to support medical marijuana.
